Real-time coordination for an emergency: help requests and donation points that update live on everyone’s screen.

The problem
After the August 2026 earthquake, coordination ran on WhatsApp: nobody knew whether a request was already handled, and several teams drove to the same place.
How I solved it
Shared state over Socket.IO plus an atomic claim in SQL: two people cannot take the same request, and whoever arrives second is told right away.
